Will a R/R from a fuel injected R6 work?

Will a R/R from a fuel injected R6 work?
My R/R went out and I have access to a R/R off of a 2006 R6 that is fuel injected. The R/R has six pins but only uses five of them according to the schematic in the manual. Will this be a problem, using a R/R off of a fuel injected bike for a carbureutored(sp?) one?

FI vs Carb matters not..
However there might be other issues involved. If it only uses 5 then it should work. One for + one for - and three from stator. (The three from stator don't matter which of the 3 they are hooked to so long as it is one to each)
