where are your inpection stickers mounted?

Not sure if all states have inspection sticker or not, but in Va they require a big rectangle sticker. I have no idea where they would mount it on my SH? Most bikes have a little plate to stick them on.

Wheres yours? Thought, suggestions?

Thanks!

I don't need one where I live, but when I bought my bike it had a NY inspection sticker on the fork tube between the triples.

My WV sticker is located on my left fork near the axle nut. My bike was purchased from a sheriff deputy in Leesburg, VA and the big, ugly VA sticker was placed on the right fork at the triple tree.

It's far enough down though that it can't be seen except from above.

I just avoid the sticker placement and skip the inspection.

The idiots at the dealer had mine stuck on the left front lower plastic - needless to say I was a little unhappy with them. The shop that did it the next year placed it on the fork tube where NY normally wants them and removed the old one very carefully.

this all seems weird to me.... Mass. requires their inspection stickers mounted on the tag, and the color changes each year, so there is no way to get around not having one... if a cop pulls out behind you and you don't have one your FU*KED.......

va requires a yearly state inspection where they mount a 2x4 inch sticker on your ride.

NY State... on the fork under the triple... it sucks, but I had them place it low enough that the fairing hides most of it.

NC doesn't keep up with bikes like they do with cars. If your car's inspection runs out, the state sends you a nice letter to remind you to either have it inspected or donate a large sum of money. If you don't inspect your bike, then you don't get a $9.10 chrome sticker. I'll go with option B!

Va doesnt keep records of them. You either have it or you dont.

I have a CDL though and its my livelihood, so I cant afford to be illegal.

Found this today, says it's a non-removable plate, because you would have to destroy the sticker to remove the plate.

I bought a plate off ebay. Problem with Va stickers is they are 3x4 inches. Hard to find a plate for that size. The one above wouldnt cut it.

PA law is l.f. fork or bracket attached to fork. Mine is above the triple clamp. Fairing hides alot of it.
