where 2 get airbox screws?
 
Anyone know where I can purchase some airbox screws? I guess the previous owner was a butter fingers...

Honda Motorcycle Parts 1998 VTR1000F A AIR CLEANER Diagram

this will get you the exact same screws but you could just go to your local hardware store and find some that work

I agree.

If you have motorcycle shop close, give them a visit. Most have a bunch of spare random stuff like that.

If you look deep down in the engine V, the originals are probably still in there!

I found a Japanese coin in mine!

I should add the bike was is a Japanese domestic model so was oroginally sold and ridden there, before being imported to New Zealand as a used vehicle. I have polished up the coin and mounted it on the clutch reservoir as a lucky charm.

That's amazing! Really makes for a very unique bike! This is why I love these bikes and this forum!
