What Year VTR Do You Have?

I was just thinking, I've ony seen a handful of user's with '05 Hawks on here. I'd imagine most user's have a '98. :eek: So, the question is... what year VTR do you have?

Why so many '98s?
After riding 4 different 'Hawks I have concluded that they are all different for some reason. Each one feels like a different bike with the motor being the only thing close to the same as the others yet still slightly different. Luckily mine has always felt the best. :cool: Anybody else had the same experience? |
'05....VIN 28. I learned about the VTR from the Honda Brochure. They were so unpopular my dealer wouldn't even get one for me to look at until I paid a deposit of $500. I looked at and sat on one at another dealer, then put down the $500. I rode it for 5 minutes, then bought it. :wootwoot: That was August, 2005.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't these were early release 98' models.
I know of no 97' models in the US. If so, why is there a 97' in the poll? |
