I'll be needing one of those stands that go under the rear axle, that kind of looks like a hand truck. Where you get them?

What exactly are they called, and are they universal to fit all, or most bikes?

Paddock stand.
Most are configured to work with spools on the swing arm. Stock the SH didn't have them. Unless you are going to install spools, you want to look for a stand designed for use without spools. There are some that do both.
I would spend the extra money for an Abba stand.

I have an extra pair to sell. Where are you located? Shipping would kill any deal I'm sure.

It's a pair? It looks like one unit to me. My zip is 45424.

This is what the rear looks like. Just goes under the swingarm to lift the rear.

There are front stands that lift at the bottom of the steering head. Lifting from that point allows the wheel to be removed.

Word of advice, look at the CM Woodcraft
and Pitbull height adjustable stands.
You can buy stands a lot cheaper but none stronger.. Another thing too on our Hawks the common paddock stands raises them way too high. Makes it very difficult and awkward to lift, and even more fun to lift the rear wheel to slide in the axle, hold the brake caliper bracket on the tab and not bind the chain.
Same for their front stands.as well. I have multiple stands and the regular ones just collect dust in the basement.
The pitbull and Woodcraft are worth every penny.
I have one of the first pitbulls, bought when he first started the company over 20yrs ago. I have become emotionally attached to it just like my Hawk.
Check out Max Van's reviews at Sportbike Track times you tube channel.
They have decent prices, and Motomummy as well or you can go direct.

There are currently two pairs (front and rear stands) on Craigslist for $50 each within a half hour of you.
