VTR1000 gear shift linkage shifter
 

I have owned by bike for about 6 months now and I learned with this beast. Unfortunately, that comes with lots of falling and tipping over on the bike and I broke the shifter pedal itself. For a while, I was able to suffice with a shifter that I found on amazon for a ninja ZX10R but find that this one easily breaks on the weld after a while if I'm not easy with it. I can't find any website that sells an OEM one or one that is similar. I don't want to keep buying this shifter off amazon as it breaks easily and it's not fun having to wait a week for the shifter and the bolt when they do break on me. I have bought about 5 or 6 of those shifters and they all fail at the same point..

Any suggestions on a decent shifter that fits the VTR would be appreciated,

Might take a while to get to ten orders as it's at five now?. I have one, they improve shifting and are very strong.

I replaced the the stock shifter on my bike a few years ago with the one Jamie Daugherty used to make. . I still have it in my box of spares. I will DM you with my contact info if you want it. You should consider the upgraded version if Jamie offers it again here, but in the meantime my old one could get you by.
