VORTEX CLIPONS
One of the guys ordered some for his 600rr, but they were the wrong size. They fit mine though, think I'm gonna grab'm. I ordered a rc51 throttle tube, guess I'll wait till it comes in.
WOW, THAT WAS A ROYAL PAIND IN DA ****!!!!!
I have russel braided lines, so because the banjo bolt is longer for the 2 lines, I had to flip the start switch and the master cylinder. Not sure how I'm gonna like that, because the brake lever is about and inch and half farther down the bar, so less leverage.

Well, on the clutch side I drilled the hole, but I had to grind the start/stop switch. The problem I had, was that the banjo bolt on the master cylinder would hit the inst. cluster. So I moved the m.s. down to where the switch was. At first I didn't like it, but now Its alright, my index finger falls right into the meaty part of the lever(the curve), easily stopping with one finger.
41mm is the fork tube size. I know I advocated these clip-ons before but I never came back and finished the story after I replaced the tube on my right side. it turns out that when the bike tipped over, it didn't just bend the tube, it bent the whole hole that the tube goes into. so even after I replaced the tube, the end of my right clip-on measured a whole inch lower on the right side compared to the left. I had to get a new set anyway. so much for an easy fix. I got a set of woodcrafts instead. my trackday friend said he's been down with them before, and they are the toughest clip-ons he's ever used. so in summation, vortex-not so good. woodcraft-unproven, but probably better.
Vortex- while cheaper and readily available, the products often seem to come up short and underengineered...
Chain and sprockets- not bad, 10k+ miles with aluminum rear (countless wheelies)
Frame sliders- a couple inches shy of being any good (for SD)
