so i came across a vfr800 for a pretty good price. bike has 5k miles on it. i didnt find much info on this bike. i did come across a recall that came out in 07. something to do with the electrical and brakes. sooo i know thats not good. anyone know details about this bike?

 

great bikes recalls are minimal, electrical takes some time to do but not bad

 

From what little I know, the VFR sort of went from a sports bike to a touring bike when it went from 750 to 800- got a bit bigger but added a bunch of more modern technology like EFI and o2 sensors and that sort of thing, and added VTEC later on. So probably why the electrical plays a part...

But I'm only fuzzy on all of those parts... I'd love to ride around on that SSSA

A guy i ride with every once so often has one. He loves it. Be sure you buy a bike that serves the purpose you have for it, not one that just looks cool.
