Velocity Stack Interest?

I believe I have a shop that can machine the Al Stacks for a reasonable price, around $100 (depending on how many pairs are made this can be slightly higher or lower).
These will be made using the same files Dr. Honda started with and hopefully be close to what he had in the end with fitment, otherwise will be the same.

Regardless if other people want in on this I will be getting them done. The more people who want a pair the cheaper the cost obviously.
Will take a few weeks as I just got a quote this week and will be going in this friday to go over what they should be like and any other info they need.

Once I have an approximate number of people who are interested in a pair I will know how many to get plus a few extra just in case and then I will know the price for a set. Shipping will be by the cheapest and therefore slowest method (unless you want to pay more to ship )and once I have a pair to put in a box I will be able to figure out your final cost with shipping to you.

Copy and paste this list and add your name if you would like a pair or are interested so I can get an approximate number to make if it looks good.

1)Me

Where did you get the CAD file? I'm wondering how it was attained and from who?

My concern is that its a performance part that only works with a really tight tolerance and has to have the airflow perfectly to gain the HP desired. If its not done perfectly or the file is a half as CAD drawing you'll prolly loose power.

Don't mean to be rude but I'd go see Bill at HPower and get a cool red anodized set. $200 but worth it knowing they were done right.

Doesn't look like enough interest to get a price lower than $150

The file is the same file that the Dr. Honda stacks were made from and based off which is the same profile and files that the HPower stacks were made from and which copied the HRC stacks. So yes these are all based on the same HRC stack measurements as far as I know and understand. I will check with the manufacturers this friday on their computer model to make sure they do a proper job. They will be done right, but as before on Mikstr's thread you can get a set or not its up to you but don't complain when you miss out.

I will also have them make one set at first to make sure its right and then go from there, so it will take time as I can only get to the shop on fridays.

So far I have 7 sets spoken for, and this will get the price below $150.

remember copy and paste the list as I will go off of the last updated list

I'm also still learning, apart from looks (which would be covered by the airbox and tank I take it) what are some more of the benefits?

ok They are hopefully being machined late this week or next and I did get a few extra sets done, hopefully enough. Once I get them I will better be able to let you know the shipping cost.

I will update again once I have them in my hands and send out pm's for those that were interested and go down the list until I have none left

Ok a bit of an update.

The shop has been really busy but they finally got the 3d model/ program for there machine ready to go so hopefully they will be able to run it within the next week or so. I did get a 3D pdf file that shows the part. If you want a peek pm me your email and I'll send it along.

Once I get them I will start sending out pm's to the people who were interested and put their name on the list. Once those orders are filled I will see how many I have left then it would be first come first served until they are gone.

thanks for your patience guys

Not to rain on anybody parade but it has been suggested that these could be made by a 3D printer out of ABS at a fraction of the cost.

Thoughts?
