Track Day...want lights out...
Thought this would be easy, take the fuses out, tape up the glass, then head out for a track day. When I take the 20a headlight fuse out, bike won't start...Do I have to remove the fairing, take out the bulbs? Same goes for the rear/brake light...
Thanks in advance. |

Reach in and pull the connector off the headlight. Do the same on the rear, but IIRC, you'll have to remove the rear cowling.

Heed some advice, plastics for these machines aren't too easy to find. Throw some sliders on her first.

Slider only do so much and I've seen tons of damaged plastics with bikes that had sliders. Fitting the cheap chinese plastics or race glass is only a pain once, after that it would be an another hour in preprp time added to your normal track day prep. Small price to pay for saving what in some cases , irreplaceable OEM plastics. |
