Duplicate the stock kit with good tools.. a quality 8 & 10mm combo wrench takes up not much more room than the crappy stamped steel open end wrench Honda provided. Like wise a quality multi tip screw driver works a lot better and gives you more options then the crappy flip tip one Honda gives you in the kit. Add hex keys fitting the common things on your bike that might come loose or needed to be loosened and re tightened. Same for other type or size fasteners that are specific to your bike.
I also add a small 1/4 drive ratchet and 8, 10, 12mm sockets in a semi deep length (Ya Im a Snap On whore)

When I build a bike, I try really hard to use fasteners in the standard range..be it 8 or 10mm hex head or 5 & 6 mm socket head screws. Decreasing the number of tools needed for parking lot repairs.
I personally dont carry a spark plug wrench as I have no intention of removing a spark plug in a parking lot, and if I do, it will be with tools from my roll cart brought to me, and a truck, and a trailer, and a beer. Like wise I don't need or carry tools for tire/wheel changes, chain adjustments.

Lastly I occasionally add a tool temporally to my kit when something new and uncertain has been added or a issue cropped up "last ride" that has not been fully or confidently corrected.

I had an oil leak a few rides ago, post oil cooler / oil line MOD... No leaks could be found at an idle, but I was leaking some at speed.
I found and was pretty sure I fixed what was an incorrect sized O ring on one of the fittings, but had the needed 11/16" wrench for the AN oil line fittings with me next 2 rides just in case.
