Taking the plunge...Bafflectomy

So I've read it over and over and I'm going to de-virginze the Hawk today and do the first mod. I will attempt the Bafflectomy. Any last minute tips or tricks to perform this garage surgery? Does anyone have a sound clip or know where to find one of the bike with Baffelctomy? Also any way to make it look less obvious that the hawk has some of it's inners yanked out? I have never seen a pic of the rear of the cans after this has been done.

Thanks gents!

Reminds me of when we stole that police car,we threw a blanket over the lights but we couldn't figure out how to turn off the sirien.
I posted a picture at one point.Cant tellya how to find it.As far as hiding it, I keep looking at the K/N airfilters on my old suzuki. That black wire mesh in a dome shape.

my baffles are completely removed and I don't think to the casual observer or po-po would be able to visually tell.

I think there is a post I read on here about hitting them with some high temp black spray paint inside to disguise the mod. Just make sure to tape the inside of the tip so you dont scratch the hell out of it when your doing it.

If you decide you want to go back let me know I have a set of cans that the P.O. took off.
