Super Brace

What are the thoughts about the effectiveness of installing a Super Brace? Does a SH benefit from it or is it wasted money? I see there is a couple of other brands, Spec II for one, for less. Are these others as good as Super Brace?

Yes, the SH benefits from it... greatly... Takes some of the twisting movement out of the fork...

Dunno which are good or not though...

i have one & think it helps. @ first i didn't get the fork protectors... i used a little rtv to hold the stock ones on BUT they kept coming loose so i ended up buying them.

i like the simple 2 piece design - no shims, inserts etc.

Do a search, there is a lot of info about fork braces for the VTR on the site. I had one by SRC (before switching front ends to a 900RR unit) and felt it really tightened up the front end.

Thanks everyone. I did a better search and did find plenty of info about braces. I'm not crazy about the shims . Maybe the cost of the Super Brace is worth it?
