Sunny and warm tomorrow!
Should be 40 in the morning and 65 in the afternoon. :D
I'm riding to work! After a few days of constant rain and drizzle, I'm ready. :draggin: |
What a great day to ride. I got to ride to work (38 degrees and calm), ride to lunch was beautifully sunny and calm (60+), and windy ride home after the sun went down (56), but now another cold front is moving in and tomorrow's gonna be cold, lol. At least I got one nice day in. :) 412 miles in 2012 so far.

Not impressive when your hootin' n' hollerin' state borders the gulf and mexico.
|
No, not impressive, just awesome! :p

C'mon Smokinjoe73, we've had some great unseasonable weather in the past few weeks. I managed a couple of rides on my days off with 65 degree afternoons. I'm 35 miles from you.
I think the October "Snowmagedan" was all we're gunna get. |
Wintery high of 80 tomorrow here...I'll be enjoying the 20 mile ride to work in the straight line that is Florida...

Yes definite awesomeness. God is giving us back all those non riding (non driving, subways shutdown, barely walking) days last year.
Of course I am all for any moment when a real rider actually gets out and rides. Can't help but be jealous of southern folk. I was all set to move to miami, then I got married. This is what my commute became last year. I like it better now. |

Wow! Nice bikin' in the snow! I ride my mountain bike to work sometimes too. I like your setup.
Rode my SHawk to work again this morning. 32 degrees with a 20 degree windchill, windy as fek!, but at least it's dry. :) I always feel better in the morning when I ride in, regardless of the weather. :D |
Man, you guys dont know how good you have it.....want to hear a shocker? Up here we went from 42F on monday, to -30F today with the windchill. Thats a kick in the ass....it was so nice to have warm temps like that, but everybody knew that honeymoon would end, after all, it is January on the Canadian praires!

And I thought racing in NH was cold. Canada is the next level.
The most important part of my bike set-up is the (homemade) handguards. Triples riding time since hands are always the weakest link. The problem is then I had to make some neoprene boot inserts since then feet become the weakest link. I like to always be on 2 wheels. Not much for feet or 4 wheels. |
Ha ha, that's good thinkin! That's crazy with all the snow stuck to it. We are hitting the trails in the morning. I'll be warmer from just seeing your snow encrusted bike.
