(SOCAL) need mechanic or recommendation on shop

hey guys, didn't know where to post this since there aren't any regional forums, but yeah, i was hoping that somebody could help me install some cct's for cheap. i'm looking for somebody relatively close (i'm in glendale, ca) who has done this job before. or if not if you could point me to a good shop w/ a mechanic they trust who does good work for not too much money. thanks guys!

CCTs, huh? I had Temple City Powersports (Temple City, CA) install mine. But, they charge $70 an hour. The mechanic I go to now owns Motorcycles Plus, a whole in the wall shop located in Monterey Park, CA. It's not a high-class establishment, but he does good work and doesn't charge a whole lot.

Have you considered APE MCCTs?

thought about the manual cct's but decided on the OEM parts since they're auto, and i won't have to mess with them. could you e-mail me the shop's contact info? (apbrian112@hotmail.com) thanks! any other shops or people here in socal? TIA

Once set... You can go thousands of miles before the Manual CCT's will need to be adjusted. The cam chains stretch very little after the initial stretch, when used with MCCT's. Auto CCT's are another story.. In addition to failing on occasion.. then can under several circumstances put too much pressure on the chain guides.. causing the chain to stretch.
