Depending on final price, I might be interested in Part # WS-502-19
or Part # WS-502-11 in that order.

How about a group buy on Sharkskinz street lower? They are pricey as well.

i look into it

i figure we could try this for any part that we want or need. I seen it done on other forums. I will call Sargent seats tomorrow(WED) and if anyone wants to try something else then lets put it up here. And if anyone has done this before then let me know what i should say when i call.

group buy

You'll probably just have to mention how many buyers that you plan to have. 10 sounds like a good starting point.

Ok guys I talked to Scott at Sargent Seats and to our dismay the only thing they could do is drop shipping and handling. He said they could only do this because of thier affiliations with dealers. He did suggest that I contact one of their dealers and see if they could do anything. He went on to say that Arizona Motorsports is one of the places I should contact. I just sent them a email saying that we are looking to do a group buy on the seats and in the very near future we may want to do other items that they sell. So when I know I will let you Know

zOk i found out the best we can get if we order 10 seats is 10% off plus free shipping. I talked to Arizona motorsports and thats what they offered. I told them that we could also be ordering some other stuff over time to sweeten the deal but thats what they offered. let me know if anyone wants to order, i may jump on this.

Since I previously found $297 including shipping (as posted above), I was hoping to do better via a group buy. Since then I've bought a 2nd stock seat & am going the custom padding route instead. Sorry, count me out.

I found the $297 sargent at Sandhills Powersports. on their website you have to give them your email address and they send you a link to get that price. they might do better than that if you told them we had 10 buyers.

SandhillsPowersports.com is selling the Sargent for $297 inc ship
www.motorcycleproshop.com is selling the Sargent for $289 + ship

www.directparts.com is selling the Corbin for $269 inc ship
www.partmonster.com is selling the Corbin for $269 (Use coupon code monsterme) (don’t remember with or wo ship)

I have never participated in a group buy so I’m not knowable about how it works, so please forgive the following.

Street Bike Accessory Warehouse (streetacc) appears to be Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse’s Ebay division. They are selling Sargent seats in red & yellow on Ebay for $307 + shipping.

I called Christine at MAW to ask if they would do a group buy. They said that if there were 10 or more orders for the same item that they would offer the item at wholesale price.

The wholesale price for the Sargent seat appears to be $271.95 without shipping.

If ten people commit, the next step would be to submit a sample order with the names of the first ten buyers to Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse.

I believe the individual buyers could call in, reference the group buy, and place their individual order.

I apologize if any info above is incorrect.

I leave it to bigpat123 or others to follow up as they see fit.

Be very careful with the people at MAW, I got some tires from them and it was a good deal.......until they added shipping to them without telling me what the shipping was. Take a guess what they charged to ship 2 friggin tires............................$45!!!!!! I vowed to never use them again and I think bigpat has the same feelings about them. DICKS!!

Good point. Let the Buyer Beware!

Shipping to TX was $18.77 per the ebay listings below.

OHHH I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER USE MAW.
they are the worst i have ever used. They will never see another single penny of my money. I cant stress this enough. but i will look at some other places. I wil also contact a friend of mine who works at a honda shop in NY, I will see what he thinks is the best set up and deal for the parts.

BUT NO MONEY TO MAW
