That doesn't look like New York City, Joe.
Is it just me or does it seem like everything is better on "two wheels"? |
I should like to ride one built from an XR650R.
I would also like snow bunnies waiting for me at the lodge. |
Nothing realy new to me. I sell these these days. Timbersled is one of the biggest fabricators for motorcycle sleds. Camso is another company that make them. The fit kits are usually made for large cylinder motocross bikes, or hybride motorcycles.
A little fabrication, and you can fit it on just about any bike you want. Remove front wheel, and rear swing arm and shock and fit the the rear track and ski, and you're good to go. You even have a choice on track lenth, usually 121, 129 or 137 inch long, and Fox suspension upgrades if you wish, depending on who you buy it from. The absence of the stabilizing rotating mass at both ends coupled with the increased opportunity to catapult over the first buried vine would make some folks a bit leery - no?
