Shifter issue.

I am looking for an aftermarket shifter to replace my broken stock shifter. I priced an OEM shifter at the local Honda shop and they want like $95 plus tax for it which is a little pricey in my opinion. If anyone knows where I could get one for a decent price I'd be much appreciative.

If you are looking for a new one try bikebandit.com

With a previous bike that I rebuilt I had lots of luck with different breaker yards. Motocyclist magazine usually has a add or two in the back that list some of these.

:lol:Do you need the whole shifter assembly or just the shifter itself
Parts found with Part Number: 24705-MBB-000DescriptionPEDAL, GEARSHIFTPrice$68.51
Thats from Ronayers.com
Service honda may be a bit less.

Other then full rear sets, i've not seen an aftermarket shifter

what exactly is broken? a few of us have repaired (trying to be nice) our shift levers by drilling, tapping, bolting. it's very cheap and mine seems as though it's going to outlast quite a few much more expensive components. if too much of the lever is gone I'd be real curious if a more popular bike has a piece that could be made to work. best of luck to you!

The piece that is actually broke is the kick shift, the lingage and everything else is fine. I actually drilled a hole in it and tightened a bolt up and glued the original rubber back on but it seems like it is fairly weak. It seems to flex when I work it back and forth. I've also had someone telling me they saw an aftermaket shift lever for arund $40 but he doesn't know were it was.
