Serious VTR oil cooler..!
Found this on the bay, thinking it was on a race bike in Japan. Serious about cooling oil.

More juicy bits from that guy in Japan. Looks like stuff off Moriwaki's race bike from '98, but who knows.
Check out this Mori swinger: HONDA VTR1000F MORIWAKI Swing Arm Set sss |

That same Japanese guy from ebay has all his bits on Jauce too. |
I saw that swinger on Jauce as well.
There is a tasty Ohlins on there at the moment that I am bidding on as soon as it's unblocked for me. Don't like my chances though. |

No kidding! You and me both. That Mori swinger is asking for the price I paid for my VTR. I remember back in 98-99 Moriwaki fabbing up that swingarm for their race entries. Nice bit of kit. |
The swingarm looks beefy, but still cobbled from an original isn't it? Still has crappy stock chain adjusters like ours.

This would be fun if it wasn't yellow, and the shipping wasn't $250. :)

Yeah that stuff is pretty cool. That bodywork is pretty neat too, and though it's listed as "used" it looks like NOS/new old stock with some light shelf wear. They don't seem to be in much of a rush to sell some of it though at those prices...
|
I asked, he showed me pix of a VTR that he took some of the take-offs from, and he said the wheels had lite scratches from use.
Sorry, I just saw you all have an Ebay section here, for these such things... |
some nice parts on sale..

Hopefully I can get a reply from this. I've looked for several hours now trying to find the adapters to go from the stock oil cooler outlet on the crankcase to an fittings.
This cooler in the auction has a picture of them, but I am having no luck at all finding them or something that compares. I am building a naked bike and am at a stopping point until find these fittings. |
