Re: Seen at the PI MotoGP
I think this was first displayed at the Laguna Seca track a couple (?) of years ago. Does the motor look familiar?

Re: Seen at the PI MotoGP
its called NAS New American Sport. it came out a couple years ago. but they still aren't making it. I love this bike as well. I wish they would hurry up and produce it cause I won't even be able to afford it until its a couple years old.

Re: Seen at the PI MotoGP
Yeah old news - they were just teasing us
Btw what's up with the 2006 Superhawk? Anybody have the scoop? I keep checking the Honda media website and nothing is showing. http://www.hondanews.com/catID8012?v...1&kw=catID7084 Is this the end of the SH? or are they just taking a break for a year to clear out old inventory? Maybe they are going to give us a new SH  |
Re: Seen at the PI MotoGP
Here is a Rumor on Motorcycle daily from July 15, 2003.
http://www.motorcycledaily.com/15july03twonewhondas.htm Two New Hondas For Europe Only? By Dirck Edge Rumored to appear in Europe this Fall are two new Hondas, including a fuel-injected VTR1000 (a Super Hawk successor?) manufactured at the same plant that produces the Varadero, as well as a fuel injected CB500 naked parallel twin. The 500 twin is almost certainly for Europe, only, while the 1000cc v-twin might possibly make it to the United States as a 2004 model. While the VTR1000 would use a development of the motor first found in the Super Hawk, Motorcycle News of England is also reporting that Honda is developing a naked twin using the RC51 engine. MCN states this high performance naked may show up as a 2005 model. Stay tuned to MD for additional rumors on 2004 models. |
Re: Seen at the PI MotoGP
