Sad day.
She is gone. the guy just picked her up tonight. i am gonna miss it like hell. I already do. I guess I am gonna need that R1 to help me grieve. LOL

LOL...I wish I could have a sad day...I am ready for that dadgum KLR...LOL...
good luck with the R1..those sure are nice... |
You did everything you could with her so maybe it really is time to move on. Great build and I'm sure a great deal to the new buyer. R-1? Not a Ducati or Triumph? Duke?
I have a blender - actually, I have two - one in the kitchen and one for the greenhouse chemicals but the garage is still lacking! I think I'll keep it that way. You'll be back to big twins or v-fours. I've it seen with other members who go away to I4, come back, spend thousands in the meantime - for what? On the other hand I don't fault you for seeking better performance and handling. Problem is, if I had to go out and buy a better/newer/v-twin I would be somewhat financially challenged to do so. That's why I keep tuning the Superhawk. She went to the surgeons today. One more mod. |
I know. I am a twin guy first and foremost. I stumbled upon the R1 and it was a smoking deal. No one would have passed it up. I had to buy it. I am going to ride it for a year and hopefully by then, I would be a able to afford anothe twin, maybe the RC51's replacement. We will see.

That really sounds like something I once bought but it was in red lace but was equally seductive. It was sooo pretty and such an attractive price :woo:
I, too, await the next thing from Honda. I will go to the bank for that bike. |
