Sadly I am typing this post to inform you that we lost a friend. Joey Scobey

That's sad. I remember he was pretty active on here for a while. Did a bunch of track days on his hawk. Seemed like a really nice dude.

I'm deeply saddened to hear that. Bought and sold parts like cams and exhausts with each other and seemed like a really cool guy. If that is the case I went through a similar experience with my best friend from college also taking his own life. It's just a terrible experience all the way around. I hope you're at peace brother and riding like this anytime you want.

I read a bunch of his posts before I decided to join. Seemed cool. Just putting my two bits in. I had a buddy end his life over a woman. Nobody beat your self up even if you were his closest buddy you wouldnt usually see it comin. I know im brand baby new here but if anyone has the demons poking around I live where I do because of a colorful past we'll tell them demons to chill out. Honestly anyone feelin low talk to a buddy or even a stranger.

I was saying that because I been lurking here a minuite and read a bunch of his posts. Just as everyone else said I was shocked.

I didn't know Joey personally, just from here and Facebook. He seemed the type of guy I'd hang out with. It is a shame. I've been affected by suicide in my direct family so it took me back to that, briefly. I hope his family and friends come to peace with it.
