Just goes to show that no matter where you are you should wear your gear! A celebrity on TV should be an example of what TO do, not what not to do. I may write a letter.

That guy is a tool. I had to laugh a little when he did that. Glad he was not hurt, that could have been really nasty.

I just had a rant about squids, no gear and gixers. What is is with people and those bikes? It is a shame because I think they are great bikes. Hell ,I am afraid to look at one as a secound bike for fear I will do something stupid like that. He is just lucky he "walked away".

Yeah its bad. Hes a host on a tv show that is watch by a lot of people. Thay do this show to teach people that it is cool to go the the strip. I like that aboout this show, Then u got the host on a bike with 148hp trying to show off. No gear at all on, its not hard to die on a bike with no gear. Like Indian Larry falling off hes bike. He was one of the best at what he did. But its just a reminder how good things can go bad fast. All he need was a helmet and he would be here to day. IF all u can remember befor u go for a ride. Remember your helmet:shocker:

I gave it a little juice..just like I do with my other bikes
yeah...vrr vrr vrr...it's more like I want to hotdog it down and got owned.. Walk away...from me....

hahaahahah he took a dump alright. ahahahahahahahh

seaton001 03-19-2007 06:27 AM

What a moron. I don't wish for anyone to get hurt, but you hope that he learned from his stupidity and that newbies out there who hopefully saw that will learn as well. He was going at a walking pace and dumped it. You cannot take anything with the power to weight ratio of a race car for granted. I don't care how long you have been riding. I too have been riding since I was 5, the only difference is, I respect what I ride.

First off... stupid show to begin with, IMO. I think I'd almost rather have them bring back Speed Racer to the 7:30am time slot... that's how WEAK that show is!

Second... hmm... note to self: start wearing a helmet when test riding bike on my very short deadend street & when riding it up onto my little trailer.

E.Marquez 03-19-2007 07:53 AM

The guy is a product of his enjoinment.. He only knows what he knows.. which I'm taking from his comments, is underpowered V twin bikes. Something that when you grab a hand full of throttle... it farts louder, but really does not do much. I get the impression he had no idea what was going to happen when he did the same to a sport bike like that. Stupid yes,,, would one of us do that? probable not as we know enough about such bike types to approach it with caution.. But if you are ignorant on this type of bike,,, but very failure with other types of bikes.... I can see (or did see) the result.
I bet if offered a ride in a top fuel dragster, he would treat it like we would have treated that bike.. With respect and caution,, It’s all about what you know

StoneJrW 03-19-2007 01:26 PM

He didnt even try and help get the bike up. He just walks away like it was no big deal and takes his shirt to show he's still a badazz. I saw this episode and before he got on the bike a guy told him to be careful on that bike. He ask why "is it fast".
