The hawk is all together for the season, and I FINALLY got it out and got some ride time in.....michigan weather sucks!
I had the idea of sending the wheels out and having them powder coated blue....I hate to make this parellel but ...like the GSXR's and some Yamaha's.

I can, for the most part, see it in my head and I have a feeling it would look pretty sick, but Im always up for opinions and ideas.

Thanks!

transparent blue with a silver undercoat.

I'd get a good side picture and photoshop the wheels blue to see. I can't tell - I like the idea but as soon as you get too many colors going sometimes it doesn't work. maybe yellow wheels. anyway, try to photoshop a couple and post those for opinions too. in the end, its what you like that counts

Being unique is key. DO IT! I was gonna say Wolverine would definitely like your idea. But he already found it. Thank you for not getting chrome...

I think the blue would look much better with 6-spoke rims. Like the 900rr ones... I'm not a fan of showing off our stock rims.

Blue definitely compliments the yellow. I see you have done the passenger brackets in blue, and they look good. Plus your (Tapeworks?) graphics have some blue in them & they look good, too.

Take this theme, tone it down and run with it!
Cool to hear your a grad. My wife and I have been to the Big House quite a few times for games. Luckily for us, they've won each time we've been there. It's like mecca for me. If the riding season wasn't shorter there, we'd move. Around here all we have is obnoxious Penn State fans.
Anyway, keeps us posted on your Superhawk. I'm particularly interested:D.

Just to show a little more of the yellow and blue look.

I think the blue wheels will look good , but I would return the pass. peg brackets to satin or polished alum. Just my .02 but I think it would make the wheels flow better with the graphics without the brackets popping out at you. Anyways post some more pics when you get it done.
