New Member from the SF Bay Area
 

Hi Everyone!

I'm new on the board and from the SF Bay Area. I recently bought a 99 SH in Superfast Yellow. For as long as I can remember I've always wanted a SH. Dunno why it took me so long, I should have gotten one from the gate. Since our first ride together I've been scratching my head why it took me so long. As much as I love my other bikes, this one is never leaving!

Also want to say thanks for having a forum with plenty of info to read!

Btw, any SH riders from the SF Bay Area want to meet up for a ride? Curious to know if there are any in the area as I have rarely ever seen any. Maybe I'm just blind.

I was fortunate to pick her up for a reasonable price of $2500. She is super clean and was very well cared for, with 18k on the clock. The owner really didn't want to let her go but he said his back and wrist can't handle it anymore since he had a work related injury.

I've been riding and enjoying her so much I haven't even taken the chance to take any pics. I plan for a good cleaning this weekend and will definitely post after we arrive to a nice backdrop.

In regards to the yellow, it's a first for me. I never thought I would ever own a yellow motorcycle. But for some reason it just looks good on the SH, not putting down other colors, just saying she looks fast just sitting there, not to mention how she pops in the sun! Just beautiful!!!

I've owned many vtwins and I4's and still do, but this baby had me at yellow!:D

There you go people. Yellow. I've been saying it for years. Hopefully this shuts up you red, blue, purple or whatever pukes once and for all.

Im on the other end of the continent so I wont be riding with you but I have to ask, are those staintunes?
