Looks great. Are your wheels polished or chromed? See pics of my polished frame/swingarm in the gallery. Welcome aboard. :D

Nice looking bike. Also, nice touch having the mirror heads painted to match.

Welcome aboard.

welcome aboard!

nice bike!!

nice observation, cdyer77! :thumbup

how did you get the mirrors painted? I think that would look cool on the red bike as well, ... well, may be.

Hey guys. Thanx for all the nice observations. I bought the bike like this. The wheels are chromed and I am working on polishing the frame and swingarm. As for the mirrors, they were taken off the bike to get painted. I like it. I am adding a lower bellypan fairing that is getting painted black. It is going to have some chromed lettering on it. I will post new pics.

Quick helpful tip for you (since we do alot of these at the shop), get the swingarm chrome plated instead of polished. It may cost more up front, but the headache saved compared to having it polished is well worth it. You will constantly be trying to keep up with it if you polish it. Plus it will have to be re-polished every season to keep it looking good. Chrome it once, then all yo have to do is wipe it down to keep it clean.

Agreed.... upkeep on polished parts can be hell. I spend WAY more time cleaning my frame and swingarm than I do the rest of the bike put together.

Nice lookin' ride. I've got an XX too. The two are a perfect combination:
XX - for touring, 'Hawk for commuting.

Visit www.cbr1100xx.org/forum too, it's also a good place to hang
out..
