New guy

 Just wanted to say hello and say thanx in advance for all the help I am going to get here. I recently bought a 98 VTR with 25,000 miles a worn out clutch and chain which I have allready replaced with info from this forum. I have no info on the previous owners of this bike as I bought it from someone who bought it only to flip it for a profit. I plan to rebuild the bike better than new and ride it until I cant ride anymore. Please give me your opinions on what parts I should replace first after the R/R and CCT's and when should I have the valve's adjusted since I do'nt know if they have ever been serviced. Thanx again Mike

Bro, in my sig is what works really good around here. Install Superdutyd's cct's and blockoff plates and do it asap or be numbered among the horror stories found here. Time to check the valves and if you set up them on the loose side you'll get more low and mid range torque. If it already runs great then I wouldn't mess with it. It's a hobby and a good one :D
