NESBA Members here?

Anyone going to the NESBA event dates scheduled later this Spring at Beaver Run Motorsports in SW PA? I think I need to take my SHawk to the track to learn it's limits safely.

shameless bump. No one from the Northeast takes their Superhawk to a track?

You probably should have put that in the title maybe? May I suggest one of these: Heavy Duty Foldable Utility Trailer & Other Folding Trailers - Harbor Freight Tools

Thanks for the suggestion. NESBA= North East SportBike Association. I thought the acronym would be recognizable, and was hoping to converse with any members who might be present in forum... oh well..

There's a UHAUL near me where I can rent a motorcycle trailer for $10 a day, I already have too many "toys" to store in my garage. I think I could actually fit the SuperHawk into the back of my Honda Odyssey with help from a friend.

I'm a NESBA member. Haven't ridden any events though yet. Going to a track school in June

Cool. Are you doing the free intro ride offer? I see several upcoming dates on a track near me. (Beaver Run Motorsports)

I want to start someplace but don't know how agressively they start folks who are totally new to track riding. I am not worried about riding beyond my limits, I am worried about getting rear ended if I ride slower than most.

I'll probably do the intro thing after i get cornerspeed under my belt.

Cornerspeed is fantastic.

Regarding the intro group with NESBA, i've heard great things. They don't allow passing in the intro group unless a CR waves you on, as i understand it... so you shouldn't have to worry.

So did someone introduce you track riding recently, or have you been riding on tracks for awhile?

jay956 04-24-2011 06:19 AM

ive been going for a few years now, but only 3-4 times/year.

3-4 times a year sounds like plenty. Would you say it's improved your overall skill as a road rider? I joined NESBA yesterday so I can get into a beginner session this spring.

I am a sportbiketracktime.com member and plan on joining NESBA to do a couple of trackdays with them in 2011. I hope I can still get in for Road America in 5/9 & 5/10
