My Hawk has wings!

Designed these myself, patterned off the Tapeworks ones but my own graphics/shading. Had em printed locally and installed yesterday.

You can see he lives in my neck of the woods, the minivan behind the bike
is old and rusted...;O)

Nice job, looks good.

Yup, Montreal Quebec, rusty van capital of the world :)

Thanks for the compliments, I'm happy it turned out exactly how I wanted, subtle and tasteful is what I was going for.

Well I know/ride with a guy who does this in his spare time, mostly he does stickers/graphics, sometimes "wraps" a whole bike, usually to cover damage.

I sent him a rough idea of what I wanted (Tapeworks VTR-with-wing-picture, badly photoshopped by me to approximate the shading I wanted). He redid it more professionally with proper scale/dimensions etc in Adobe Illustrator. We went back and forth a few times until I was happy.

Brought my finished design, along with graphics for several other bikes (enough to print off a whole roll of material), to local commercial printer that we both know. Cut/fitted/shaped/installed in his yard after BBQing dinner

If I didn't "know" someone, I would: Ask local pizza chain or auto parts store where they get their vehicles stickered up. Go to said commercial printer and ask them if they print graphics for anyone that does bikes (chances are they do). See that person and make a deal.

I'm lucky in that I "know" people, and was able to get this done extremely cheaply.....
