My first superhawk, but lots of questions please help!!!
 

Ok I got a 1998 Superhawk that runs great but was laid over. The bike needs a rights side. It needs a new right side radiator, clutch cover(cover where the oil goes in), needs new forks as well and right side fairing.

Can i buy parts from a 900RR to fix if or does it have to be specifically from a 996 superhawk? i can't find any parts for a superhawk.

please help

I would venture to say all engine cover need to be superhawk. The superhawk is a v twin while the 900 is a i4 right?

do some searching on this site, there is tons of info on what parts from which bikes will swap...but with a little ingenuity you can swap just about anything.

There are a lot of different mods written up on the forums... Some involving CBR parts, but you'll want to research options for each specific fix or upgrade individually.

Also...FYI - The super hawk's model designation is VTR1000f. You might have better luck using that to search for parts on eBay and other parts sites.

Just make sure you don't buy parts for a VTR1000Sp-1 or VTR1000Sp-2 which are both RC51's here in the states.
