Motor rebuild tutorial?
 
Anyone have a link to a hawk motor rebuild tutorial with some detailed pics? I did a search and didnt come up with much. Thanks

there are some others. There is also a lot of those on here who have a lot of experience if you need help/advice. Wasn't clear what your plans were but lots of help available.

Workshop manual downloaded from the knowledge base is very useful...if you are unsure about a detail (e.g. what to look for on a shell bearing) then ask here.

hay every one im new to superhawk forum and im doing a rebulid on a 1998 hawk cct err took it out . so im looking for all info on this motor as far as tweking it out .im looking at all info you all have .(MEB)

Uh... that all heavily depends on your available funds/time/skill/hp requirements. CCT failure rebuilds tend to be extremely costly to the point that you may just want pick up a motor somewhere...

If you're looking to significantly upgrade performance in the process you have options, but it's gonna cost you a couple grand I think.... Search for the thread by Mikstr- he just put a bunch of performance stuff with some pretty good results.

Bottom line is- you have more options than you can think of, so give the guys on the forum some more specific questions that they can help you out with, as "all the info you have" would probably fill several books.

Welcome, BTW, and post pics of your bike if you get the chance!

thanks for the info(7moore7) im an az. native transplanted in FL.BY WIFE. I scored this bike from a freind in OH. and Ive had it for two years and POP>
