Mass upgrade

Parts installed: Spiegler yoke and 7/8th Renthal flat bars (https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ke-yoke-30452/)
Parts arrived today: Ducati clutch radial MC, Storz damper, and HiFlo fliter.
Parts sitting in garage: DMr fork springs and valving kit and R6 brake radial MC.
Tools in: Pit Bull Headlift stand.

Anything else I should take care of while in the process?

I'll post up the progress as it ensues. Any advise before I start or as I work is welcome. I'm hoping to have a smooth assembly, but don't we all?

Installed the radial MCs tonight. Clutch side went on without a problem, the brake side went smoothly except for having to use the stock reservoir and the mounting not matching up as to be expected. A few zip ties worked well to hold the reservoir while a test ride up and down the street. https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ck-up-4293.jpg

Also installed the HiFlo Airfliter.... wont know how that changed the bike for about a week, should start work on the front end tomorrow.

Per GlockPointer's request: The clutch side is amazingly smooth and a softer pull than stock. The clutch still has full disengagement when the lever is pulled in. The brake side was not as much of a direct a bolt on due to having to still make a mount for the reservoir. The brakes at first test feel great. It feels like a little softer pull, but more braking power. No proof, just feel. I'll report more after I get time on the bike. Tomorrow I should start taking apart the forks to install DMr springs and valving. Also I have a Storz damper to install... I think I am going to make a frame side mount so I do not have to drill the frame and rivet the mount.

Got the Pit Bull headlift stand in today, assembled in minutes and put under the bike. I will start the fork work today or tomorrow.

Forks are off. I will start tear down and rebuild tomorrow.

That Speigler yoke is a really slick item. I wish they made it in black.

There is always powder coating.

Yeah but I am too frugal for that!

I hear ya, I didn't like the machined surface so I media blasted it, free and easy.

New valving is installed and forks are back on the bike. New PP3 adorns the front rim, and the mocking of the steering damper has started. Can't wait to feel the fruits of the labor.

Did my first test ride today with the upgrades, save the damper (working on a different mount), and I must say it feels like a new bike. It sits correctly, doesn't bottom out, the clutch is about a 5-7 lbs pull now with a much smother engagement. The brakes are quite firm now too.
