Lucas Oil

I had to change the oil in the triumph and on a whim I grabbed some lucas non synthetic 20-50...So far, it definitely runs cooler and quieter, does anyone else have experience with Lucas products?

I swear by their transmission fix/stops slip. I've used it over the years to help a bunch of friends/neighbors/coworkers revive a slipping automatic transmission and have used it on all my cars for years as preventative maintenance. 295k on the original trans on my old Avalon and it still shifts perfect. While it obviously won't fix a broken transmission it's always been magic in a bottle for me for one that slips.

I like their grease...

I'm really liking the Bel-Ray EXS.

Their electrics in my ‘68 MGB were all junk. 😂

I had to safety wire my license plate on my "B". Damn... and it shorted out!

I have to admit I'm not an oil hype believer typically but in this case both of the lucas claims..."runs cooler and quieter" are no doubt true.. The S4 is known to run hot from the factory and the fan doesn't kick on until 220! Even before it was stolen and no doubt abused, I thought the trans was noisy as hell, shifted funny too. All of the noise and clunkiness/false neutrals have simply disappeared...Right now I'm running conventional but I think I may switch to synth when I switch over the VTR to synth. who knows, maybe a new oil thread is in order.

I don’t mind oil threads as long as the participants are at least a bit educated on the subject. Oil changes with the times just like tires. The M1 4t does a spectacular job in my VTR and has for 10 years or so. The Duc really likes this Bel-Ray. I have a Honda Accord in the fam that might benefit from the Lucas trans additive, so I’ll definitely try it out.
