Intercom
Looking at picking up an intercom system. Don't really want to answer phone calls while riding and don't use GPS. Really just looking for bike-to-bike communication but might listen to radio/ipod if available. MotorcycleGear.com (NewEnough) has the Scala Q2 multiset for $170. I can get the Q2 Pro for $250 or the G4 for $340. Has anyone used the Q2 Pro?

My riding buddy and I just got a set of Sena SMH10 intercoms. They work very well and are very versatile. The price isn't bad either.

the Q2 does not work well for radio. You have to manually set it to a station (which isn't easy), then when the intercom breaks in, you have to set the station again. it does work very well for intercom though.

I read reviews that said the Q2 speakers were horrible for radio and finding a station was near impossible. Thought maybe the Q2 Pro had resolved the issue. Found the SENA SMH10's for around $340.

I have a set of the Q2's and the radio is terrible, bluetooth to phone (the one time I used it) sounded bad (could be the phone, some terribly compress the audio), and bike to bike is great. Only problem is on the highway the wind noise is too loud to hear anything on the intercom so I turn it off and put in ear plugs.
