I need SHOG rally room info

OK guys, It's time for me to compile info and get the name list to Ben at the Deals Gap hotel.

Please PM me your name, email address and phone number.
I will copy/paste the info into a single WORD doc and e-mail it to Ben.
(I'll cut/paste to avoid any risk of me screwing up any of the info)

Once Ben gets the list, I'll post back with more on how he wants to handle getting your credit card info.

The details of arranging who is going to room with who is all up to the individuals.
All I/Ben needs is info from each individual who will be reserving and paying. You can go ahead and include how many will be in your room, and arrival/departure dates.

So, look at Greg's list in the other thread, work out who you want to room with and then send me a PM with the info for the one who will be responsible for reserving /paying.

I would like to have the final list ready Sunday March 9 so I can e-mail Ben on Monday the 10th. If you don't have your info in by then, you'll be on your own and might miss out on the "last year's price" deal

So, PM me:
Name
e-mail
phone number
Number of people in room
arrival and departure dates.

THANKS!!

Brian

Can you tell us how many people CAN be in a room? IE: How many seperate beds?

Brian A 02-29-2008 11:29 AM

I just called Ben to ask for details.

Standard rooms = 1 double bed and 1 set of bunk beds.
Our price = $50/night for two people plus $10 each additional person.

Apartments rooms = 2 sets of bunk beds.
Our price = $70/night for two people plus $10 each additional person.

You can view more info at their website
http://www.dealsgap.com/

Cleveland and Hawkrider - PMs received. Thanks!

Verne 02-29-2008 02:51 PM

I was debating on going, but at $50 a night put me down.

Sent you a PM.

and received.

so far: me plus Verne, Cleveland, and Hawkrider = 4 total.

Hawkrider 02-29-2008 03:44 PM

The wife and I will share the double. 2 more can fit in our room in the bunk beds. That's $22.50/night guys. I don't see anything wrong with that price at all!

Brian A 02-29-2008 05:48 PM

Add Ohio hawk to the list.
That makes 5 rooms total so far.

Hawkrider 02-29-2008 08:46 PM

Geez, my math sucks! Sorry, it's $17.50 per person per night.

Brian A 03-02-2008 09:43 AM

Looks like Mark (Sgt. Rock) and I will be sharing a room.

No additions in the last few days.
Still holding at 5 rooms.

Kickinchicken996 where are you? You are on the list in the other thread.
You have your own arrangements for sleeping?

Verne 03-02-2008 03:17 PM

I have extra room if some one wants to split it with me. Just let me know.

Verne

Brian A 03-06-2008 08:05 AM

Tomorrow is the last day to add your name to this list.

Still holding at 5 rooms as of Thursday morning.

I plan to send Ben the list this weekend.

Brian, as of right now my plans are too shaky to commit, so I am rolling the dice...If there is a bed in one of the rooms available at that time I will split a room with someone...if not then I will camp...no biggie, I just don't want to tie up a room or bed at this point without knowing 100% if I can make it....

Is there a place to pitch a tent?

Yup, If memory serves about 50 or 75 yards from the building is a nice place for camping..

From the website:
Tent camping is available on a first come, first serve basis, no reservations are required.
Rates are $12/tent for two people in the tent. There is a charge of $6 for each additional person.
We have two sets of bath houses available for your use.
Limited power sources are available at $6/day.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate RV's or other large campers, but smaller pull behind campers or trailers are OK.

Sounds like a winner to me. Won't need power. All I have to do is figure out how to carry my stuff on the bike. Or I could just UPS it to someone driving.

You can strap a lot to the Hawk, I did last year...I could have easily added a 1 or 2 person hikers tent to what I had...Of course, shipping the stuff would be easier....

When are you planning on heading over...We should set up a rally point over this way for those in the area, then ride over together...assuming I can go..

happytrack44 03-06-2008 09:03 PM

I will go ahead and throw in for this, I may bring one of my Daughters or my best friend or just come by myself. But I'll pay for 2 billets no matter what and am looking forward to the event. Let me know what you need.

PS; Friday and Saturday night for my crew. Thanks, Rob

That's with 4 to a room? That's only $5.50 more than camping:shock:

Sounds like a good idea. No way for me to know my schedule this early though. That's why I still haven't committed to going for sure.

That's only if you have a couple sleeping in the double bed.
