wondering how much id spend on a replacement yellow tail for my hawk. mines taken a bit of damage and if it cant be fixed ill have to replace it. wondering what a used tail on here is worth.

 

Tail? do you mean the shroud over the passenger seat section?

 

The thing that the tail light sits into. Plastic thing. Seat sits on top of it. Wrong term?

 

There was a yellow seat cowl not to long ago on ebay $50 with shipping. not sure what the rear plastics might go for

 

dont need the cowl. if you look at my sig pic its that plastic i need.

 

I think he means the rear cowl, not the solo seat cover. I bought a new red one off ebay awhile back and I think I paid around $150. New on ebay probably around $150-$175. Ronayers.com gets $268 (a few bucks here or there depending on the color). Your dealer only God knows. The good part though is you can sell yours and make up alot of the price (well depending on how bad it is anyway).

 

Alright thanks bud. Mines suffered some damage and if it can't be repaired it needs replacing so I'm starting to shop around for prices. And as it is I don't think I've ever seen another hawk around my area so the likelyhood of a local buy is gonna be slim.
