Hey all,

Been lurking for a while but thought I better introduce myself. My name is John Ditmore and I like to go by JD since half the western world is named "John".

I ride a Yellow and Blue 99 SuperChicken with the following modest mods: Leo Vince high mount exhaust, emissions block off kit, 520 chain, Vortex sprockets with a tooth up in the rear for better streetability and a gas tank from an 03 for extended range.

I'm a Manufacturing Engineer by day at a 2 bit sweat shop down by the airport in Las Vegas, NV. On weekends I teach the MSF classes at the College of Southern Nevada. From San Jose, Ca., I've lived in Austin, Tx for a few years before moving to Vegas in 2003.

I've been riding some form of 2 wheeled transportation for over 30 years and decided to stop counting. My passion is riding. Period. I love long road trips: Ex I make the trip from LV to Monterey, Ca every July to attend MotoGP. I've also been bitten by the land speed racing bug.

I own a small race team, JD Cycle Sports. We've run a 2001 Suzuki Hayabusa every year since 06 at the Motorcycle Speed Trials by BUB on the Bonneville Salt Flats. This year was our best ever. My racing partner and I both topped 200 mph! My personal best was 202.8 mph.

great to have you on board, never worry about telling us your stories we all I am sure would enjoy hearing about your racing and speed trials.

Hanging out in Iraq right now, I have no choice but to live through others cool bike stories,, So pull up a chair and grab a beer.... We're all ears..
