HF Motorcycle Stand/Wheel Chock

I'm looking for feedback on the HF motorcycle stand/wheel chock. How sturdy is it? How large a motorcycle will it support. Could it be used on a trailer as the bike chock/stand--I'd be using this for trailering my Superhawk to trackdays then using it as a "ride in" stand at the track.

I have a HF wheel chock I use on my trailer. it works well, but I still have to use tie-down straps. I understand Pit Bull makes some that do not require straps to be used.

HF also has some inexpensive wheel stands that you could use in your pit.

My dad has the aluminum HF rear stand for his Versys. Other than it not folding, he said it is light-weight and works well. Lauren has pictures of her SH up on a HF rear stand. For $40, if you have the room to store it, it works well.

If you are talking about this model....I bought it, assembled it, tried it out, disassembled it, and returned it. A perfect example of a shoddily engineered piece of ChinCom chit.

If you are looking at the silver chock. I have three of them two in the garage bolted to a 4x8 plywood to park the bikes and one in the trailer. they work like a champ and if you wait they usually have them on sale for $29.95. I have hauled from a 250 ninja up to a full dresser harley, still use a couple of straps for security. but much easier for one person to strap it down.

you have to use straps with any chock.

I use the silver one and it worked great. I bolted it to a 1"x12" board to use it temporarily in a borrowed enclosed trailer to haul my new bike home. I then bolted it to my open trailer and have had good results both ways.
I also use the rear steel stand for swingarms and i got a front fork adapter for an extra $8. Works well enough.
FYI: if you search "harbor freight coupon" at google, you can find 20% off coupons if its not on sale.
