Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself to yall. Found the forum after searching about some engine swaps after I got my bike. I bought a 1999 SHawk but was 'told' it had a spun bearing, but it was a really good deal and figured it could give me something to tinker with for a while.

I also own a Suzuki Bandit 1200S and really enjoy riding whenever I can. I live in College Station, TX and Im looking forward to using all the tips and advice that this site and its members will give.

I can post some pics once I get my camera back from the gf but trust me, they aint pretty! All the plastics sitting on a table, carbs by the sink, engine set up on the beer pong table, nuts bolts and hoses everywhere!!

It should be a fun rebuild, pretty much from scratch! :headbang:

Well, seeing as how it's already apart, you could always rebuild it the way it should have come from Honda (hi-comp pistons,...) if you have the funds of course :)
