height & weight

I am 5' 10'' tall and 165 lb's. is this a good size for a 2002 SH? I found 1 4 sale near me. I really love the looks of this bike! WOULD IT BE OK/ COMFORTABLE 4 long rides? Is there a lot of weight on the wrists? I just sold a 06 gixer 750 because it wasn't so great for commuting & way too fast to keep my license.

my wife is 5'10" and I tought her how to ride a motorcycle on my 98 super hawk. She was on her tip toes but she got it done. as far as comfort, it's great. Deffenetly more cofortable then that gixer you had. Take for a test ride and see what you think.

I am about your size, and find it a good fit.

I'm 5'10" and 170. Bike is a great fit, tons of power and a load of fun. I mostly commute but plan to add some Helibars for a little more comfort.

I was about 5'10" and 160 when I got my new 98 in 97. Well fastforward 10 years, I'm still 5'10" but closer to 185! :) Anyway, I prefer taller bars (VFR bars or superbike handlebar) now and a better seat but I did alot of miles on my first one while it stayed stock.

I found the bar-angle to be really uncomfortable, so I put on a set of Heli Bars to alleviate that issue.

And +1 to a better/comfier seat.

I am 5'9 and closer to 200lbs and just rode over 700 miles to AL and back for the races. I think the stock seat sucks for long trips, but over all it's the most comfortable sport bike I have ever ridden.

im 5'10" 200lbs. stock the hawk made my wrists hurt after an hour or so of riding... actually all i did was move the bars up tite againt the clip and out tite against the knob. this got me about a half inch up and a quarter inch out on the bars and now it feals perfect. wrists and palms dont go numb anymore.

6'9" 295lbs. I feel like I am riding with my knees into my throat but never felt as though I truly looked goofy. Then I let my buddy at 6'3 ride it, and I bet Im at least twice as goofy looking as him, and he looked DAMN goofy!
