Yikes!!! Coulda got ugly!
beautiful bird(the animal) feel bad for it also feel bad for the bike:(
Man, glad it hit the bike and not Hotbrakes. I've been pelted by much smaller things that hurt, none had beaks and talons.
a brand new form of hunting.
Is that a Red Tailed Hawk? You bastard!
Seriously, I'm glad it got your fairing instead of your helmet. I think it was Fangio who had a Turkey Vulture come through the windshield of his Mercedes 300SL during the Mexican GP in 1955. |
How fast were you going? Did you see it coming or was it on the road and couldn't get off in time?
Thanks that it wasn't a deer! Glad everybody is ok.
must have been a gurl hawk... that snake gets 'em every time...

(says in a steve erwin voice) Today we're hunting the wild red tail hawk. I'm gonna stick my motorcycle right up his bum. |
This just illustrates what we all know to be true....
the RC will always win over the Hawk. |
wow~ glad you weren't hurt!
Glad your ok......feel bad for the bird, though. Oh yeah....sorry about the RC.
glad to see he didnt get hurt. shame about the bird though.
I wouldn't feel too much sympathy for the hawk. Bird of prey. They rip body parts off other animals for a living. They especially like to eat the tender, cute & cuddly ones.
And they're ubiquitous here in central Virginia. |
