Gregw 11-07-2008 07:17 PM

Man, glad it hit the bike and not Hotbrakes. I've been pelted by much smaller things that hurt, none had beaks and talons.

Death Cattle 11-07-2008 08:06 PM

a brand new form of hunting.

VTRsurfer 11-07-2008 08:26 PM

Is that a Red Tailed Hawk? You bastard!

Seriously, I'm glad it got your fairing instead of your helmet.

I think it was Fangio who had a Turkey Vulture come through the windshield of his Mercedes 300SL during the Mexican GP in 1955.

MLB 11-07-2008 08:35 PM

How fast were you going? Did you see it coming or was it on the road and couldn't get off in time?

nuhawk 11-07-2008 08:39 PM

Thanks that it wasn't a deer! Glad everybody is ok.

LineArrayNut 11-08-2008 05:29 AM

(says in a steve erwin voice) Today we're hunting the wild red tail hawk. I'm gonna stick my motorcycle right up his bum.

BeerHunter 11-08-2008 06:19 AM

This just illustrates what we all know to be true....

the RC will always win over the Hawk.

scarface 11-10-2008 09:43 AM

wow~ glad you weren't hurt!

badboyrr 11-10-2008 03:05 PM

Glad your ok......feel bad for the bird, though. Oh yeah....sorry about the RC.

Woodytick 11-11-2008 12:25 AM

glad to see he didnt get hurt. shame about the bird though.

L8RGYZ 11-11-2008 06:12 AM

I wouldn't feel too much sympathy for the hawk. Bird of prey. They rip body parts off other animals for a living. They especially like to eat the tender, cute & cuddly ones.

And they're ubiquitous here in central Virginia.
