I am sure the bike has the torque to handle it, the question would be one of how to attach it. They are usually pulled by goldwings that have a trailer hitch.

You wouldn't want to attach it to the subframe, it would pull down on the back of the bike every time you accelerated. And if you attach the hitch with long bars to the frame close to the swing arm pivot it would be in the way all the time.

I don't think I have ever seen a sportbike pull a trailer, if you do it, be sure to post pictures of the rig you make, and be careful.

Is this what you were thinking?

That should work fine.. A bit of a pain at times I am sure, but it would work.

yea, something similar to that, but more enclosed, dry, the mounting to the bike seems very straight forward, simple, and id use some sort of fenderon both rear tires, just to keep things clean, especially if you hit any rain.

thats wicked. you can probably build that if you have some welding skills and making a cover for it would be a joke.

I'll try to get it goin soon just to see if I can do it myself, i'll definitely post pics as I progress

Hey those single wheel trailers are really cool. I've never seen one before. Love the pic of the guy railing through the turn with a trailer on the back lol.

Just an idea. Heim joint to mate the trailer to the towing adapter on the bike. Hydraulic equipment or tractor store.

offroad_rider2008 02-09-2010 08:21 AM

i was thinkin along those lines too superbeater, also thought of interchangeable boxes for it, plus maybe expandable like 2' - 4' or something like that
