Got a GoPro HD camera

Woohoo. Picked up the new GoPro HD camera today, ill be testing in the next couple days. Just taking it out of the box I was amazed at the number of mounts it comes with, including a massive suction cup that has been said to remove dents from cars.

This thing will do everything up to 1080P, sample video online is amazing.

Sweet! i have the non-hd one and i love it. the suction cup works very well, so long as you stick it to a good surface. my bike has a not so great rattle can paint job and its not very sturdy on there. but when i put it on the tank (factory paint) it feels like i could lift up the bike with it.

I am so jealous... the regular cam is awesome, I saw that the 1080P option uses a slightly narrower field-of-view, and is widescreen, which is awesome. Definitely on the 'want' list.

i couldnt get the hd one from my buddy when i got mine but the vid is still pretty good from the non hd. the suction cup is wicked i was moving my 300+ pound computer desk by it, lol.

also those 3m mounts are wicked, it took a 10 inch prybar to pop it from free from the plexiglass plate the display one came on. just wicked

I love the picture interval setting the camera has. Took over 700 shots in a set of twisties.

Picture quality is really good, I had to reduce the size to upload them and they look blah.

The reflection of the road ahead is awesome. :winner: Great pics. Now where are the vids? I want to hear the sound quality.

this was using the suction cup on the rear facing forward for a different angle.

Do you know that you're on the same YouTube page with a bunch of Sikh Prayers? Don't know what that's about, but it looks like you're having fun with your camera.

Me either. But good news I figured out how to play the video in HD. Just add &fmt=22 to the end of the URL. Here is the HD version.

looks good man, did you remove the little seal from the case or is that with the seal still in? i found with the seal in on my go pro wide angle it muffles the sound a bit, doesnt give you the full soun as its in a complete waterproof box, but the folks at go pro say to remove that and it should bring in alot more sound.

That is awesome - thanks for posting - now i want one!

The new HD version comes with two backs. One that is waterproof and the other one is vented. It says for motorsports over 100 MPH then use the sealed one. Otherwise us the vented one. I was using the vented.

Retails for 299 just came out a few weeks ago. A local store here the helmet center is selling them for 275. They make different versions the naked, surf motorsports etc. Same camera but with different mounts. If you already have a gopro then get the naked as its just the camera for about 250ish.
