The turn signal switch tends to get dirty and then it will not work immediately when you signal in cold weather. Switch it and wait, it may start after about 20 seconds. Squirting contact cleaner in has little effect. You have to disassemble the housing to really clean it well.

I'm picking up my 98 in a couple days.
Totally stock, 18000 miles, 2300 bucks.
Brand new tires, battery, and a fresh oil change. Woot.
Never had one of these. Never even rode one. But for the price of a Ruckus, how bad can it be?

Welcome!
It's important to get off to a good start here so please state the specifics of the oil, tires and while your at it brake pads.
Keep your head down as there will be incoming mandatory must do mods on your new bike.

Welcome. Well, I'm sure your oil is wrong and your tires are the worst option as well. Oh, and you simply must do all the mods. Just ask and we'll give you the list.
