Getting annoyed, wont start

Ive put in fresh fuel, cleared the lines, connected all the tubes properly, cleaned out and rebuilt the carb.. The bike will fire up and run with starter fluid sprayed in there, and would do so continuously if I continued spraying the fluid. But once the fluid stops coming, the bike fizzles out and dies. Any suggestions? I'm so ready to ride, but I'm stuck here. Is it possible having the airbox off would be keeping the engine from running?

Id put the airbox on and try it out.
Are the floats stuck? Is the petcock turned to on?

Good questions, by Floyd. One of the most obvious things is the carbs aren't getting gas. Or the gas they're getting is no good.

Lines to petcock correct? If you have spark and compression, the only thing missing from the party is fuel.

You can check the petcock diaphragm, it happens sometimes, if you connect a fuel container directly to the gas lines, assuming the carbs set up correctly, it should work and give you indication.

You replaced that fuel filter in the gas tank? Mine was clogged with all kindsa crappola.

When I disconnect the lines, the gas lines are full eh means they aren't being run dry for the filter to be the problem.
I'm baffled. It'll run with starter fluid and the air box off spraying straight into the carb, but not with straight fuel thru the fuel lines. And the lines aren't clogged. Stumped

So if you are getting gas from the tank into the lines its either a stuck float or a blocked jet.
Those are the only two things that it could be.
