Finally finished my Hawk. Not bad for a 1998

Bought this bike out of a barn for $2,000 and added a few accessories.

Looking good!

To be fair (to me), you should have paid more.
|
C'mon now...are you ever TRULY finished??!!!
Here I thought I got a hell of a deal at 2500 in August. Looks damn good! |
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
It was a steal. Love the belly pan. |
Fastest color too.

For the 98 model year.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed my $2K barn find (actually chained up under a fir tree like a junkyard dog!). I love my '98 and after not riding it for a few weeks I'll get back from a ride and remember why she's so special! Yours looks great!

PS: Rocket Rider - this great forum is where I found so much valuable information, especially for performance tuning and the outcomes from things others had experienced. It was a superb starting point for so much of what I did to bring my Hawk back to all her glory! Use the "search" bar!

Thanks for the comments. I had a 2012 Busa and believe it or not the Hawk is a lot more fun to ride especially since they are wheelie monsters

I have reviewed this thread and can confirm that is indeed a 98 Super Hawk similar to my own, although it's probably faster than mine because mine doesn't have as many stickers.
I too think it's wheelie fun. |
