fairing

question how time consuming is it to take the fairing off? i know it is like 4 acorns 4 screws and 2 push in connectors and blinkers. anything else to worry about??

This is the easiest bike with fairings I've ever dealt with. Just take the whole front/upper fairing off in one big piece. Remove mirrors, take out a few bolts, unplug the headlight and blinkers, and pull the whole works off.

There is also a fourth wiring connection right above the headlight.

anyone have any good ideas where to mount a ballast on here???

I was going to put my relays next to the starter relay and the ballast was going to get bolted to the fairing stay above the horn
