It's not that I mind you using it (if you asked first) especially as it can, and has helped others, it's the fact that you are prepared to pass it off as your own work, with no recognition (that I can see) as to which site it came from (that would have been nice) and who put the work into producing it in the first place

 

hey RVW... he may have given credit to you but you failed to put your name on the document. it seems pointless to give thanks to a link you found on the inet.

nice write-up & pics though, so i'll say thanks for taking the time to put it together. it's a project too many people get into trouble doing.

Ok, I give full credit to both ripvanwinkle and to the KB here, and more..

I pulled from sources all over, used the text that best applied to what I did, and added pictures of the event.

I did not write most of it and saw no need to rewrite it, I do believe most of the text was yours (but I changed some of it) and all of the pics are yruyurs. (he and I did both our bikes at the same time)

If you want more let me know, I can put a link or whatever. I just didn't think it mattered when I threw that together (for my own use).

Then someone asked for a easy to print "walk through" and I made it available.. It wasn't ever intended for general use. It just kinda became that.

I do think it is right to give credit where credit is due. But like I said, I didn't originally intend it for anything beyond my own use.
