Engine markings
 

So I've been going through my project Superhawk and I came across these markings on each cylinder. They are just above each intake.
Are they factory markings?
On a positive note I did get her fired up over the weekend, she sounds sooo smooth.

Thanks, that makes sense. The font looked way too neat to have been done by hand
I also noticed corresponding markings on each cam cover when I was checking valve clearances.
