Discount for our forum for CNC Top Yoke Kit

Discount of 10 percent until the end of August for their Comfort Kit handle bar conversion. Check their website for their take on a more comfortable riding position for our Superhawks. Topyokes.com.

I will be posting pics of what my 99 looks like after I complete installation, but the discount will be over. Kust a heads up here in case anyone else wanted to order this setup. My US dollar cost was about $390 shipped with the discount.

Discount code is 'cnc15'.

it's a pretty part, but wow...that's expensive! :o

sgv_vtr 08-25-2011 04:35 PM

A little cheaper than the LSI setup, but IMHO, a cleaner way to go.

my home-made solution cost 40 bucks. Buy a nice set of aftermarket risers off ebay, or even used ones from another model that hold a 7/8 bar. Then drill holes in the top triple to bolt to.

What bars are you going to be using?

You can put a whole new front end on for about twice that.

Man that is nice and very tempting. What kind of fairing modification is required?
It seems like a high price but keep in mind that you get he triple tree, the risers the bar and the steel braided brake and clutch lines in the kit.

sgv_vtr 08-26-2011 11:36 AM

The kit includes Renthal handlebars.

I didn't see that part. I thought it was just the risers along with the upper triple. that changes my homemade quote to about 100 bucks.

Don't forget about the new brake and clutch lines they add in...... ;)

Looks nice, but from their photos, I'd say significant fairing (and possibly) windshield trimming would be required. Is that accurate?

Yes and they also say that in the ad copy...... so be prepared to do some cutting...... ;)

It does appear it will take a lot of hacking, and when I find out how much, I'll pass it on.

And as for the cost, yes, includes bars and clutch and brake lines, plasted coated, looking pretty nice. Lines alone worth over a hundred.

Old Yeller 08-26-2011 07:57 PM

I did have to get a clutch line, but i'd already replaced my brake lines and they were long enough.

Mine only required trimming of the fairing on the sides below the shield. There's another thread I started with some pics. it was fairly easy.

Also you'll probalby have to re-route the throttle lines so they don't loop around the right fork. I had to drop my fork tube to get the line from around it.

It'll take a little work, but it's a nice comfortable ride once you finish.
